Obama for Obama

Beyond the advisability of Obama ranking Reagan over Clinton (a surprising tack for a Democratic candidate to take in a Democratic race) I have to wonder why it is that so much of what I see coming from Barack Obama is about ... well ... Barack Obama.

His repeated comparison of himself to transformational figures in politics is, shall we say, just a tad bit arrogant. Could it be that he is starting to believe his own hype? Is he becoming his own fanboy?

Howard Dean's campaign was centered around the idea of The People having The Power. Obama's campaign seems to be about Obama having The Power. Dean's campaign was about, "Look at You!" Obama's campaign is about, "Look at Me!"

It's getting a tad tedious.
