In Dubya's mind Carter is a loser, like his father. So why should he bother to listen to either of them? Didn't George "win" an election against a candidate who had "peace and prosperity" on his side? Didn't he defeat the Taliban? None of this wimpy stopping half-way to Baghdad stuff for Junior. Dubya is a winner and winners don't waste time listening to losers.
