It's all the other guys fault
Yes, candidates love to beat up on the press for their own foibles. It happens about as often as the press claiming that any criticism of their behavior is just projection.
Can we just agree that both politicians and journalists f*ck up?

Right before the 2004 Iowa Caucuses you wrote the following on your blog - Howard Dean was ahead; Kerry sliding. How wrong YOu and we were!
"The first poll of 2004 shows pretty much the same as the last poll of 2003. I'll keep crunching the numbers, but I don't expect any real changes here before the Iowa Caucuses (barring unforeseen circumstances).
